  • Sasha’mani Francois

    Director of Coaching

For the last two decades, Sasha’mani Francois has been coaching both boys and girls club and school soccer teams, ranging from ages 3-16 . Before founding Future Stars Futbol in 2010, he coached youth soccer in high school and club settings.

As the director of coaching for Future Stars Futbol, Sasha'mani is responsible for the strategic and developmental decisions of all teams within the club. He is currently committed to overseeing the training of travel teams for U7-U15 boys and girls, as well as the FSF academy program.

Sasha’mani’s unique coaching philosophy focuses on the development of the individual child, encouraging and challenging each player to approach the field with their best mental and physical ability. He is at once a teacher and a friend; his players look up to him, and he in turn always treats them with respect.

Sasha’mani has been playing soccer since the age of four, including several years of semi-pro play for tournament teams in New York and Florida. His two great passions are futbol and kids.

  • Ryan Creese

Ryan was born on a tropical island but still considers himself a Brooklyn native! He has been playing soccer since he learned to walk and has been coaching for over 12 of those years.

He has recently been completing various coaching certifications to enrich both his knowledge of the game and the depth of his coaching sessions.

With his previous club he won the City Cup in June of 2023, and the State Cup in June of 2021. However what excites him most is his ability as a coach to create spaces that truly stimulate the development of young athletes.

  • VINCE CLEMENT

    Coach

Vince currently plays at the professional level in Trinidad and Tobago, and has played at the semi professional level here in the U.S.

In Trinidad he competed in the Youth Pro League, the highest level of youth football in the country. Recently he has played in the Eastern Premier League for SEFT FC.

Coaching has always been a part of Vince’s development, and a way to learn more about another dimension of the game. He started coaching when he was just 18 years old, working with players around his neighborhood.

He later went on to coach at Cox Coaching School in Trinidad, the IFC academy in Mississippi, as well as the Orange Soccer Club in Connecticut. Currently Vince works with several different age groups here at Future Stars.

  • Leonardo González Torres

    Coach

Leonardo began his soccer journey over 20 years ago. During that time he played for the Catholic University of Chile, and subsequently moved to the US to play at New York University. He later took to coaching to help bring his experience to new and upcoming players.

Leonardo has witnessed first hand that many young players who are full of knowledge and potential, often get caught up in the negatives of competition, performance, winning and losing.

Because of this, he has developed a central pillar of his coaching philosophy around serving as a guide to players from culturally diverse backgrounds, and helping them learn the tools to practice this sport in a relaxed context without fear of failure.
